The government has granted executive magistrate powers to 1,051 administration cadre officials for one week to maintain law and order during the upcoming 13th national election.

The government has granted executive magistrate powers to 1,051 administration cadre officials for one week to maintain law and order during the upcoming 13th national election.
According to the notification, these newly empowered magistrates will conduct mobile courts in their assigned areas to maintain law and order from February 8 to February 14.
The officers are required to report to their respective district magistrates or returning officers by February 7. Additionally, the district magistrates or returning officers must ensure that the joining reports are sent to the Ministry of Public Administration by 8:00pm that same evening, added the notification.
