Gazette No. 655 was published with the final delimitation list for 2025. On 4 September, the Election Commission issued the final gazette confirming changes to 46 constituencies across 16 districts. For ensuring the establishment of a standard mechanism, reform efforts may be initiated. To this end, political buy-in from the elected government would be required.
Observation
Due to complexities related to the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies, the Election Commission has decided to temporarily suspend the voting process in the Pabna-1 and Pabna-2 constituencies, in compliance with an order of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.
