The state will implement its constitutional commitment to freedom of expression to uphold the right to organise; relax trade union restrictions to expand organising rights; and ensure a participatory, transparent, and accountable framework for collective bargaining.

The state will ensure the recognition, right to organise, and representation of migrant workers, while also strengthening domestic and international relations

Workers need to be included in some of the other security schemes with respect to their problems, and in this regard, may introduce the ILO’s life-cycle-based social security programme or take steps to introduce a social insurance scheme.

The state will take initiatives to ensure that all workers have rights to universal social security (accidents at work, death, disability, sickness, retirement, maternity benefits or any adverse situation).

Establish an emergency and contingency fund to ensure the continued payment of wages and other entitlements, and to maintain production during domestic and international crises, natural disasters, pandemics, or sudden business downturns. In addition, the transparency and accountability of the Labour Welfare Foundation and the central fund will be ensured.

Ratification and implementation of relevant OSH conventions.

Developing and updating sector- and occupation-specific health and safety plans; re-evaluating compensation standards for workers killed, injured, or harmed in accidents or due to negligence; simultaneously, specifies dignified compensation criteria and amounts to ensure fair redress.

Promote the right of workers and their families to a decent living wage, national minimum wage determination criteria will be set and a national minimum wage will be announced.

Set and revise national and secotral minimum wage based on occupations regularly. At the same time, a permanent wage commission will be formed to develop the wage determination system, increase the capacity of the board and carry out structural reforms.

Evaluate and assses the national and sectoral wages and increase the minimum wages regularly increased through evaluation every three years and decent standards will be set.
